Training for IT Professionals
IT Support Staff have access to a wide range of online and CD based
training courses. Due to restrictions on the number of staff able to
access these training materials most require staff to contact Neil Huck in ITS
for full
the full access details.
- CD based Microsoft Server Training - ITS have a
collection of CD based "Microsoft SA eLearning" training courses
that require a local install from CD. Courses include Server, SQL
and Exchange up to version 2003. All new courses will be hosted
online by Microsoft, see below.
- Microsoft hosted online Server courses - All new
Microsoft eLearning courses for which we are eligible have been
moved to a Microsoft hosted online delivery system. The advantage is
the courses are kept up to date with a much broader range of
courses. The disadvantge is all course are access via a single
Program Code that is unique to Murdoch but which currently only has
40 activations. For this reason as to the code is restriced to IT
support staff and needs to be obtained by contacting ITS.

description of how to gain access is here.
