Software Support Levels

The following table outlines the levels of software support available to staff. All software included in the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) will be covered by a level of support between A "full" to C "Limited".

For categories A, B and C, IT Services will be involved in the software licensing and acquisition (eg recording, negotiating site and volume licenses etc) to ensure the best price possible is obtained and to assist with copyright and license compliance.

A ITS is able to install appropriately licensed software
ITS is able to answer questions about the product at most levels of expertise
Training - services are available
B ITS is able to install appropriately licensed software
ITS is able to answer questions at some levels of expertise
Training - limited training available
C ITS is able to install appropriately licensed software
ITS may be able to help with some queries
Training - no training available as not supported
D These products are not supported in any way
