Guidelines for Audio Recording

Information on lecture recordings is outlined below. Please complete the form and forward to the Audio Officer in AVS two weeks before the commencement of your first lecture.

Formats

Lectopia is an automated recording system. Lectures, once recorded, are posted online for students to access on and off campus. Access to lectures is via links posted either on WebCT , the unit’s home page or a divisional server homepage. All lectures will be protected by MAIS.

These are the current Lectopia compatible venues.

Lectures held in non Lectopia compatible venues will be recorded centrally via the ‘copper wired’ system or via a minidisk recorder located in the classroom and then uploaded onto the Lectopia system.
